Requirements:
- Monitoring and evaluating dining service operations and implementing improvement actions to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Preparing and controlling the department’s budget in cooperation with the Finance Team of the organisation
- Planning and overseeing the storage and inventory management of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Developing and implementing menus and meal plans, meeting the organisation’s needs and local authorities’ protocols and guidelines
- Ensuring a safe and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene standards protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety codes
- Supervising the employees of the department and providing training, and guidance to ensure high-quality of standards with food preparation and service
- Fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and soliciting feedback to continuously improve dining services
- Managing catering services for school events, meetings, and special occasions, coordinating menu selection, staffing, setup, and logistics to meet needs and expectations
- Developing staff schedules, assigning tasks and ensuring adequate staffing levels for the effective management of F&B operations
- Preparing reports on sales, costs and feedback and improvements to the School’s Management regularly
- Staying informed about industry trends, culinary innovations and dietary guidelines, and incorporate best practices and trends into the operations of the department
Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree / Diploma in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field
- Master’s degree in related fields, will be considered an advantage
- Proven experience as an F&B Manager or in similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of nutrition, menu planning and food safety regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact and collaborate effectively
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, leadership and management skills
- Good computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of various computer software programs, including restaurant management software and POS
- Excellent command of the Greek and English languages
