We are seeking to recruit a full-time Science Laboratory Technician to join our growing team at PASCAL Private Secondary School Lemesos.

Requirements
- Maintain a list/inventory of laboratory equipment
- Monitor the stock of consumable items and prepare the necessary documentation for replenishment
- Assist in the setting up of apparatus for experiments or demonstrations
- Carry out minor repairs to apparatus when applicable
- Ensure the cleanliness of laboratory glassware, preparation room benches, and cabinets
- Liaise with the Head of Department/Assistant Head of Department for orders of apparatus, equipment, or consumables
- Assist in practical activities as requested by the teacher
- Prepare the apparatus required for Internal Assessments or Extended Essays
- Monitor the apparatus borrowed by teachers for experimental work or demonstrations, ensuring timely return, cleaning, and proper storage
- Arrange for the repair of faulty equipment with suppliers
- Report any problems to the Head of Department/Assistant Head of Department
- Undertake additional tasks, as assigned by the management of the school
Minimum qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in Chemistry or Biology or any other Science related field
- Previous work experience in setting up Science experiments will be considered as an advantage
- Excellent command of the English language
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
